General Policies

• Right to Refuse Service: I reserve the right to refuse service to any client if I feel unsafe or if the service requested is beyond my scope.

• Payment & Cancellation: Payment is due at time of service. Cancellations within 48 hours of service may be subject to a cancellation fee (50% of payment unless filled by another client.) acceptable forms of payment include cash, PayPal, or Venmo 


Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Policies

• Meet & Greet Required: A complimentary meet and greet is required before any pet care services begin.

• Pet Safety & Behavior: All pets must be non-aggressive and safe to handle. I cannot care for pets with known aggression issues.

• Vaccinations: Pets must be up to date on core vaccinations (rabies, distemper, etc.). Proof may be required.

Pet Care Requirements

• Dogs requiring potty breaks must have a secure outdoor area or be walked on a leash.

• All pets in the household must be disclosed and have care instructions. I cannot provide service for only some pets while ignoring others.

• I do not provide service in homes where exterior doors are left open for pet access.


Home Care & House Sitting Policies

Access & Security

• Clients must provide reliable access to their home (key, code, etc.). I cannot rely solely on electronic keypads in case of power failure.

• I do not provide services if other non-authorized people (e.g., guests, other sitters) are entering the home during my scheduled service times.

Inclement Weather

• Clients must arrange for snow removal if their home is difficult to access.

• Outdoor pet time may be adjusted for safety in extreme weather.

• Clean & Safe Environment: Homes must be clean and safe for overnight stays. If conditions are unsafe or unsanitary, overnight care may be switched to drop-in visits.


Liability & Emergency Policies

• Emergency Care: In case of a pet emergency, I will attempt to contact you. If you are unreachable, I will take the pet to the nearest vet at your expense.

• Home Emergencies: If there is a home emergency (e.g., burst pipe, security issue), I will attempt to contact you before taking action.
